About
Aki is a new restaurant that opened up around the corner from my house and I was blown away with the quality of their Japanese food, all made within the quarters of the store. Their brand is all about cheap, healthy and tasty food for young students and it does not disappoint. The young owner is a hardworking man only a couple years older than me with another restaurant on top of this and does a brilliant job supporting the simple elegance of the brand.

Brief
This project I was told to keep it simple and elegant, using a lot of white space to emphasize the items and text. This was a good learning experience for me as I love to spice things up with unique color pallets and abstract animations wherever possible so this change really taught me that good design is not necessarily lots of design. I was also tasked with making an online ordering and reservations page which I made with the same simple elegance as the main design.
